Eligibility: Regular Student of Polytechnic/Engineering College from following streams Automobile, Mechanical, Mechatronics.

Participation Fee: Rs 200/- per team

Prize Money: Rs 2000/-

TOPICS

Domain: Automobile, Mechanical

Bio – mechanical technology – This area may include designing prostheses, developing movement systems for people with spinal injuries, and refining equipment for athletes in high-performance sports

Automobile technology – Design or construction, maintenance, and operation of self – propelled vehicles for use on land or sea, in air or space.

Space and aviation technology – Design or production of aircraft, spacecraft, aerospace equipment, satellites or missiles.

Marine technology – conception or design or construction techniques of ships, offshore structures, marine vehicles and other advanced offshore technologies.

RULES & REGULATIONS

  • Abstract should not exceed 1 page and Paper should not exceed 15 pages.
  • The subject of the mail with the attached abstract and later, the final paper should be the domain and sub-category under which the paper is categorized.
  • College I-Card is mandatory on event day.
  • Please bring your PowerPoint presentation on a pen-drive.
  • Soft-copies of the submitted paper and PowerPoint presentations must be in the .docx format.
  • Please Mail your abstract, paper and ppt to ignitron@ragc.in . Difficulties will be addressed through the same email-id.
  • Please bring 2 hardcopies of the submitted paper on the day of the event.
  • Participants will get 10 minutes for presentation followed by question and answer session.

The mail with submissions should contain:

  1. Title- Theme of the paper.
  2. Name of the author.
  3. Contact no. of both the authors.
  4. Email ID.
  • Paper should be in a one column format & should not exceed 15 pages.
  • Paper should be in Times New Roman font of size 12.
  • For headings use bold and a font of size 16.
  • Paper must contain index, list of figures, list of tables, abstract, introduction, point wise description of subject and conclusion and references.
  • Paper must be preceded by a cover page specifying the title of the paper, names of authors and their college names as also their contact numbers and email ids.
  • Last day to submit soft copy of your report (via e-mail) will be two days prior to the day of presentation.
  • After you have submitted the soft copy, a panel of judges will go through your material and if you are shortlisted to give the presentation, you will be notified.
  • The abstract mail should contain abstract, references, your e-mail id and mobile number.
  • The decision of judges will be final and no arguments or appeal will be entertained.

TIPS

  • The main objective of the competition that the participant has to keep in mind while preparing is to develop and present a holistic style of approach which is able to motivate his/her audience.
  • The report being supported/supplemented by technical reference papers gives an added advantage to the participant.
