GENERAL INFORMATION

  • This is a racing event so fastest and most balanced robot will win.
  • Each team can have maximum four (4) members. Students from different institutes can form a team.
  • Each member of the team must contain the identity card of his/her respected institute.
  • The robot should not damage the arena.
  • The robot must not leave behind any of its parts during the run else it will result in disqualification. Unethical behaviour could lead to disqualification.
  • Faculty coordinators have all the rights to take final decision for any matter during the event.
  • Judge’s decision will be considered final.
  • Six hand touches are allowed with penalty for each hand touch, for each penalty 5 second of time will be added further to overall time required by robot for completion of specified round.
  • Your robot must be ready when call is made for your team.
  • Decision about your robot will be taken by the organisers.
  • Rules may subject to change.
  • Both wired and wireless bots are allowed.

FIELD SPECIFICATION

  • The track surface and course line may have unevenness.
  • There will be certain obstacles in the race track which will try to slow down the robot.
  • The design and size of the track may vary from that shown in the pictures.
  • Arena will consist of Switch Bridge, speed breakers, marble pit, slippery path, rotating ting disc, curve ramp down, seesaw etc.

ROBOT AND POWER SPECIFICATIONS

  • The maximum dimension of the robot can be 35x35cm.
  • The robot may be wired or wireless.
  • The length of the wire (for wired bots) should be long enough to cover the whole track and wire should remain slack during the complete run.
  • Max weight must not exceed 5kg.
  • The power supply will be provided maximum up to 12 volt.
  • Readymade toys car are not allowed.
  • The machine must be powered electrically only. Use of IC engine is not allowed.
  • Batteries must be sealed, immobilized electrolyte type (gel cell, lithium, NiCad, or dry cells).
  • The electric voltage anywhere in the machine should not be more then 12V DC at any point of time.

GAME PLAY

1) First round: –

In the first round the player has to cross the arena completely in minimum time. The bot will have to complete the whole track by earning maximum points to qualify elimination round. The track will consist of strictly stationary obstacles.

2) Final round

In the final round the bot will have again complete the hurdles No time limit will be there for this round and the bot has to complete the track with maximum obstacles cleared within minimum time to win the competition.
